My wife wanted to learned how to play the guitar, so I landed on this guitar. I spent some time looking fir an affordable used option, but this was still a better deal in my wife liked. I think it plays well, but I am no musician, just a hobbyist try to practice the basics.I am pleased with my purchase, item as pictured, tunes well, and plays well.My rating for the guitar and seller are 5stars! The seller shipped out the exact guitar listed. The features and description they provided was spot on!The guitar itself is EASY to play. This is coming from a beginner also. The neck is slick and easy to maneuver around on. The action was set good from the start and the frets are finished nicely and even.My gripe is with the shipping company who beat this box up containing this guitar. UPS leaves it at my garage and just walks off while I am saying hey this box seems roughed up. No response from driver and the company takes no responsibility for the damage they caused in transit. There is a significant dent to the edge of the body just above the rear strap connection point. There is also a significant ding to the headstock, which I would say is NEVER good. Again! NOT THE SELLER’S FAULT. This is damage from careless handling in transit.Craftsmanship of this entry level guitar is off the charts. With the obvious rough handling in shipping this thing has ZERO issues being played. The neck is true even after taking a shot in shipping that chipped the headstock. It plays very easily and has no issues with intonation or the action. If Ibanez’s low end guitars are built this well, I can’t wait to try out some of the higher end stuff. I have nicknamed this guitar times, as it took a beating and kept on jamming. This also makes this guitar a dang good bang for the buck guitar. You get a durable guitar, with solid features that is super playable right out of the beat up box. This also makes this a great option for beginners also. You aren’t going to waste time and money having to get the action setup. You aren’t going to waste time with anything you don’t want to. Just open it up and start learning to play.I must admit, I was a bit skeptical about this guitar for the price. I thought, well if it is cheaply made, I can just send it back. I couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. I have even tried a few songs with very low, drop B tuning, and this guitar has done great holding tune even down low. I did catch a little fret buzz in drop B, but I mean the action was never touched, so it is surprising it want horrible that down tuned. All in all, I am super happy with he seller and the guitar! Both have exceeded my expectations!Loved this guitar from the minute I took it out of the box. The neck feels great, with no sharp or rough fret edges. It is light weight and yet the body has a resonance I can feel. The varied tones with the 5 way switch are very pleasing to me and both the tone and volume knobs are very smooth and full ranged. I will not hesitate to get another Ibanez.I dig everything about this guitar except the terrible pick ups (luckily I have a BOSS Katana 100 MK2 and was able to dial in a few very usable tones). It wasn't set up very well either (some simple adjustments and it's all good now). - Looks good, feels good and stays in tune pretty well. - For the price...I can't complain too much. I threw some Slinky 12-62's on and tuned to drop C - now it's a metal machine. For the price, this is a well built guitar for everyday use. Pro's on the guitar are the finish, build, super fast neck and good materials. Cons I have (and expected at this price point) are weaker then average pickups and it will struggle at times to stay in tune. Gives you a great base to add to or use as is.The action is close to perfect and so is the intonation, right out of the box. Stays in tune better than most guitars I have bought online. The pickups are actually quite good, I don't need to replace them. The wood looks very nice and the quality and craftsmanship for such an inexpensive guitar is surprising. I think I have been sleeping on Ibanez guitars, I wished I would have bought one sooner. This is better than the lower priced Epiphone or Charvel guitars I have bought in the past. Really this guitar is as good as most $400-$500 mid priced guitars in quality, action, and pick ups/electronics.If you're a working guitar player - looking for a great inexpensive backup - you found it. If your looking for your first guitar - get this one. If you're buying inexpensive guitars and this one caught your eye - you'll never look at your other inexpensive guitars the same way....no matter how "pretty" they seem. This guitar does all the most important playability stuff beautifully. I will do some minor fret filing when I change out the strings....everything else is perfectly setup. Very happy.Excellent guitar for the price. Action and intonation were good out of the box, but I decided to have a pro setup done and installed a new bridge pickup. I bought this guitar because it reminded me of a '99 Japanese made Ibanez Prestige that I owned a while back. It plays and sounds just as good now. If your on the fence about this one, it's definitely worth the money, and with a little setup it will play like a $1500 guitar. Not bad tho, its just i had my expectations little higher*Made in China*BETTER THAN SQUIER AND AFFINITY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GUITAR FOR BEGINNERS AND INTERMEDIATE...Excelente. Se ve, suena y se siente genial. Solo la pintura es menos brillante que las fotos de la publicación, pero igual es hermosaGreat guitar!
