Didn't know quite what to expect for a guitar of this price but it turned out to be a beautiful guitar, arriving in perfect shape from shipping. I really like the finish. One other review I read said something about them not liking the avertising for Oscar Schmidt on the pick guard. I wondered what they were talking about. As it turned out, this printing is on the vinyl protective film that you peel off when you get your new guitar. Its not suppose to stay there anyway. The guitar has a good tone but I am probably going to replace these strings. I had no problem tuning the guitar. I did have to retune once after playing a while but that is pretty standard with new strings. I am new still learning but this seems like a pretty good entry point to see if its something your going to stick with. Its a pretty good size guitar for me to play and I am 6' tall, so if your smaller framed, short arms and such I would suggest a 3/4 size. Lastly someone also mentioned the string position to the fret board. The one I received is low and easy for me to play chords. I don't know if this can vary from guitar to guitar but as I said this one was not a problem.
