These are FAR and above the best deep cranking rods out there. I've used falcon bucoo and cara, 13 fishing envy, daiwa zillion, lews, h2o xpress, g Loomis, duckett etc etc and these are the best there is. Ive literally had ZERO fish come off once hooked. Single hooked, foul hooked etc doesn't matter. I have the 805 for 6xd and crush 300dd exclusively and the 806 for the 500dd, 8xd, 10xd, lucky craft magnum etc and these are all I use and recommend. Getcha one, you won't be disappointed I guarantee it! Well worth the price if you deep crank alot. The duckett micro magic and 13 envy black are close second and third, but they both get overloaded on the cast with 10xds. These rods can launch a 10xd and almost spool the reel. I only use 13 concept A 5.3 reels for deep cranking btw.. highly recommend those as well
