After looking at other bass controls, I realized they are nearly all the same in appearance and decided I would try the lowest price one by an unknown brand. I am very happy with my decision because the volume control is perfectly smooth and the level adjustment is linear across the whole dial. The only downfall is the RCA cables are not gold plated so you are not getting the better connection but only major audiophiles may notice a difference.
